Pellenc, manufacturer of machines specialized in agricultural equipment, is a pioneer in the use of artificial intelligence on a large scale for training. By collaborating with Didask, Pellenc has integrated an innovative LMS solution to optimize the training of its employees and customers. In this interview, Cyrielle Lauer, Skills Development Manager, and Fanny Rémy, General Counsel, share their experiences and the benefits they get from using Didask for designing And the streaming of e-learning modules.
Can you tell us a bit about your business and your main activities?
At Pellenc, we are manufacturers of special machines in agricultural equipment. We respond to different areas on everything that is viticulture, viniculture, olive growing, maintaining green and urban areas and also everything that is fruit arboriculture. We are increasingly focusing on concepts of robotics and it seemed very interesting to us to focus on a solution of digital e-learning modules.
What were the reasons that led you to choose Didask as an LMS solution ?
Before knowing Didask we already had an e-learning software solution to build training courses. They did not really meet our needs, which Didask was able to offer us: specialized support, a human-sized company that will respond to specific developments for customers. There is also all this cognitive science, neuroscience part, to facilitate access to information for all audiences.
Didask is a tool that is easy to access, simple to use, intuitive and allows us to save a lot of time. The Didask solution is essential for us, to use solutions with integrated artificial intelligence to allow us to design training modules focused on easy knowledge transmission within the group. It is our main LMS solution, and it is attached to our internal HRIS to be able to connect easily.
What types of training do you offer via Didask and what are the associated challenges?
We have a double challenge for these courses: we are going to be on very technical training courses, to train our customers and our distribution network on the use, maintenance and maintenance of our tools and machines. But also an internal challenge for our employees, with more generic training on Soft Skills, where we are going to train on cybersecurity, topics of sexual harassment, sexist acts, for example.
How does Didask facilitate the creation and management of your training modules?
Business experts know their stuff. After that, how do you transmit it? It's a little bit more complicated. This is where Didask is a solution that is really interesting, in the sense that it allows us to facilitate educational engineering, to have tailor-made training that meets our needs.
What is the feedback from your employees concerning the use of Didask?
Today, we have very positive employee feedback.
Employees find that it is still quite intuitive, that it is accessible, that it also gives a little pep to the training courses. Didask also simplifies the terminology a bit to make it more meaningful and concrete for users.
What is interesting is that Didask offers us a real support and skills development path for people who use the Didask solution. We had training modules for the HR team on the educational engineering side, but we also had personalized support for our business experts in using Didask.
What did you think of Didask's support ?
When you commit to the Didask solution, you have a customer referent who is identified directly, with whom you are put in contact. He is a privileged contact who answers all our questions about the design part. On the IT part, we have also been in contact with Didask experts, to come and adapt to our SSO solutions. It worked very well and we were able to develop the connections between different modules very quickly to simplify accessibility to the platform.
What are the main advantages of Didask for your business?
“The main advantages of Didask: the transmission of knowledge that is very easy, easy to access, easy to use, intuitive. Also, this artificial intelligence which is really very important and which saves us a lot of time. Finally, the accessibility for our business experts to build modules without necessarily providing HR support on the educational design part.”
What are your future goals with Didask?
We trained our employees at the Pertuis site. We are very impressed with the results. The objective is that in the long term, we use Didask to train all of our French and International employees.
